What are Skin Peels?
We offer a great range of customized skin peels that all generally improve the skin’s condition and texture. This treatment is a relaxing procedure with fast-acting results to give you a new aesthetic, youthful look.
Chemical peeling consists of the application on the skin of exfoliating agents to obtain first, destruction and then regeneration of part of the skin.
We recommend booking a complimentary consultation with one of our specialists to discuss what peel is best suited to your skin and to answer any concerns you may have.
Our AHA Enzymatic Peel is a gentle micro-exfoliating process that treats dry, flaking or sensitive skin. This treatment softens and hydrates the skin, also giving you a refreshing and brighter complexion. There is no preparation required for this treatment
Post Treatment
For the first 3-days post treatment, no active products can be used – (Glycolic Cleanser, L-lactic Cleanser 4%, Glycolic Scrub, Retinol, Vitamin C, Even Blend Serum). Products that can be used are Skinstitut Gentle Cleanser, Rejuvenate 15, Multi-Active Mist, Multi-Active Oil, Repair Balm, Age Defence SPF 50+ (to be worn daily and reapplied every 2 hours), Moisture Defence and Enzymatic Micro Peel which may be used to remove peeling skin as and when required.

Yes, however we do recommend coming in for a consultation to discuss which peel is best for you. This peel is designed to renew and restore skin’s radiance while soothing, hydrating and micro exfoliating dry, flaking and sensitised skins. Unlike abrasive scrubs, enzymes are selective and extremely unlikely to cause irritation from pressure or over use.
Our Peel Accelerator is a unique peel customised with Vitamins and antioxidants. This treatment is suitable for all skin types and leaves you with regenerated skin, giving you a brighter and smoother complexion.
Preparation
A simple preparation for this peel is recommended. A Skinstitut L-Lactic or Glycolic Cleanser must be used daily for 2 weeks prior to treatment to cleanse the skin of any surfacing impurities, an Even Blend Serum to be used AM and PM to even out pigment and Age Defence SPF 50+ in the morning.
Post Treatment
Post treatment, you should use gentle skin care products, as your skin will be sensitive after the procedure for 1-3 days. No active products can be used (AHA’s, Retinol, Exfoliants, Vitamin C) during this time or until the skin has recovered. For healing you can use, Rejuvenate 15, Multi-Active Mist, Multi-Active Oil, Skinstitut Moisturiser and Repair Balm.

This treatment is beneficial for sun damaged skins, skins that require anti-oxidant protection or skins that may have had previous peel accelerator treatments and are requiring a more intensive treatment
Our Ageless Peel is a revolutionary system that targets visible signs of aging, lines or sun-damage. With a combination of Vitamin A, amino acid and marine collagen, this peel encourages healthy new cell production, leaving you with revitalised, radiant and refreshed skin.
Preparation
A simple preparation for this peel is recommended. A Skinstitut L-Lactic or Glycolic Cleanser must be used daily for 2 weeks prior to treatment to cleanse the skin of any surfacing impurities, an Even Blend Serum to be used AM and PM to even out pigment, Age Defence SPF 50+ in the morning and a Retinol or Rejuvenate 15 to be used at night to stimulate retinoic acid cell receptors.
Post Treatment
As your skin will be sensitive after the procedure for 1-3 days, you should use gentle skincare products only. No active products can be used (AHA’s, Retinol, Exfoliants, Vitamin C) during this time or until the skin has recovered. During the recovery period you can use, Gentle Cleanser, Rejuvenate 15, Multi-Active Mist, Multi-Active Oil, Skinstitut Moisturiser and Repair Balm.

Our Purple Peel is a thorough chemical peel designed to regenerate and resurface the skin. This treatment is an accelerated exfoliation to the skin resulting in intense renewal, making your skin clear, healthy and completely revived.
Preparation
A simple preparation for this peel is recommended. A Skinstitut L-Lactic or Glycolic Cleanser must be used daily for 2 weeks prior to treatment to cleanse the skin of any surfacing impurities, an Even Blend Serum to be used AM and PM to even out pigment and Age Defence SPF 50+ in the morning.
Post Treatment
Your skin will be sensitive and tight for 1-3 days after the procedure and you will experience moderate to severe peeling for 5-10 days depending on severity of your skin condition. During recovery period you MUST use the following healing products: Repair Balm and Age Defence SPF 50+ (to be used 1-10 days post peel to alleviate tight, flaky skin and ensure maximum UV protection).
You must avoid UV exposure during this time and heat and water on the area for the first 12 hours. No active products can be used (AHA’s, Retinol, Exfoliants, Vitamin C) during the first 3 days or until the skin has fully recovered. You may use Gentle Cleanser, Rejuvenate 15 and Skinstitut Moisturiser Defence.
