LIP BLUSH TATTOO

COSMETIC TATTOO

What is Lip Blushing Tattoo?

Lip Blush Tattoo is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing procedure of the lips, achieved by depositing pigment into the lips, It is used to achieve symmetry, correct and enhance colour, improve shape and definition of the border, often blurred overtime with age or frequent use of filler.

How long does Lip Blushing last?

Lip bush will last from two to five years, depending on each individual skin and lifestyle factors. Annual colour top-ups are recommended to keep the colour looking vibrant.

Is lip blushing painful?

The pain is surprisingly minimal. Because the skin on your lips is extra porous, the anesthesia is much more effective than it would be on, say, your brows during a microblading session. We use a gentle and mastered technique to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.

Does lip blush make your lips bigger?

Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the lips’ natural tint and shape, giving them a boost of colour and vibrancy. It’s designed to define and outline your lips without harsh borders, giving the illusion that they’re fuller, but in a very natural way.

Lip Blush Post-treatment care?

For the first two hours, using a damp cotton round or water wype, gently pat the lymph fluid from the lips to keep them clean.

You will be given an aftercare ointment to be applied 3 times daily to keep the lips hydrated and comfortable during the healing process.

Your lips will feel dry and chapped, this is a normal part of the healing process for the first 5-7 days.

You will experience moderate flaking or shedding of the dead skin on about day three. During this time it is important to let this skin exfoliate naturally, and not pick or play with it as you can remove pigment or cause scarring.

After the exfoliation process, your lips will often change and the colour will darken then fade, and then bloom to show your results.

At your touch up or perfecting appointment, we will saturate the areas which did not pick up enough pigment, redefine the border for longevity and give the colour an extra boost for flawless results.

Can you kiss after lip blushing?

Like any open wound, we recommend avoiding kissing for the first 7 days after the treatment to minimise your risk of infection and optimal healed results.

Can you eat after lip blush?

You can eat after lip blush, however, avoid salty and spicy foods and do your best to eat clean with utensils for the first 7 days. Avoid alcohol and acidic beverages during this time.
